Requests and Questions

We express our disagreement with the granting of 6 further licences in the PAI. We will also take this opportunity to ask about the water issue, specifically regarding the well. According to the mayor's declaration in BENISSA DIGITAL, “the well, with a flow rate of 6/8 litres per second, would not only completely supply the PAI, but the surplus water would go directly to the town of Llíber”. At this stage, with a handful of houses under construction plus the new licences, we want to know if it really exists, if it has that flow rate, if it is potable, and if it will supply the town, what water pipeline would be used. We would also like to be informed about the formalisation of all this. That is to say, has there been any notification regarding this well from the Hydrographic Confederation and, if so, when was it received and what was the response. We request that both the question and the answer be minuted.

Regarding agenda item 6, we are voting against it because, although there are aspects we agree with, there are others that make us doubt or oppose it. We believe it is a substantial change, motivated, furthermore, by the PAI, and which we consider compromises the future of the town.

– We also take this opportunity to point out what we consider a serious error, namely that knowledge of our language, both oral and written, is not included in any of the items. We believe this is a violation of the law on the use and teaching of Valencian. The fact that all documentation is produced in Spanish also constitutes this violation.

– We request information on the topic of the Marnes wall.

Regarding the work of the labourers, we would like to know what the priorities of this working group are, because the other day, on the walk, people were complaining about the state of a section, in Gorgos.

Finally, we reiterate some of the demands we have made previously, such as the negotiation of the abbey's rental for improvements. We again ask that the plenary sessions be recorded so that people can follow them from home, as is already being done in most towns.
